What CHIFIR is.
A tea house in Glendale, California. Release 001 is two stuffed teas: ripe pu-erh and white tea, each sealed inside a sun-dried green tangerine.
We are not a wellness brand. We won’t promise focus, calm, or a better you; tea is not a supplement, and we refuse to dress it as one. What we can promise is the leaf itself, presented honestly: what it is, where it stands on caffeine, how to brew it well.
What comes next is not announced. There is a letter, for when there’s something worth writing.
CHIFIR is named after the strongest tea ever brewed: a whole pack of black leaf boiled nearly black in one mug and passed from hand to hand. I kept the name for the ritual, not the brew — one cup, shared, taken slowly.
